Swoon's Top 10 Spaces from 2019

It's time to count down our top 10 spaces from 2019 featuring a Swoon rug! 2019 was a very busy year for our small shop. We connected over 400 folks to one of a kind rugs! Our rugs ended up in some beautiful spaces. It was difficult to whittle down the list to only 10 spaces, but we pulled up our sleeves and narrowed down the best of the best. Get ready to Swoon!

10. The missing piece

Vintage Persian rug in living room space

Last year we became Columbus, OH locals and we were lucky enough to sling rugs in the homes of many of our clients. That's how we figured out this vintage Heriz was the perfect addition to this cozy modern family room. No matter where you are, we offer free rug recommendations

Your perfect rug is out there somewhere. And we’re here to help you find it. Want some (totally free) expert rug recommendations? Email us at findmyrug@swoonrugs.com.

Kim Pheiffer of KP Designs & Associates knows how to mix old and new design elements to strike a design balance that's as timeless as it is beautiful. Here she's expertly layered in one of our vintage pastel carpets for extra color and pattern.

7. The Perfect Reading Nook

Chelsea Mohrman Interiors

Now THIS is a reading nook! Chelsea Mohrman is a master of designing spaces that invite us right in. Bright, natural lighting, a sculptural wooden rocking chair, how could you not want to grab a book and curl up on this muted vintage rug? All we’re missing in this room is a cup of warm tea and fuzzy socks!

6. Kitchen Goals

Myers Property Solutions Kitchen

This kitchen renovation is definitely GOALS! Myers Property Solutions created this bright and modern kitchen but kept the look warm + inviting with sculptural lighting, natural wood opens shelves, and one of our vintage rugs.

5. Dreamy Bedroom

Instagram Carpendaughter

Whitney Utesch (carpendaughter) spent last year renovating her fixer upper from a (self-proclaimed) "fugly" home into the realization of all our vintage/modern dreams. This bedroom is nothing short of dreamy! Our blush vintage rug fits right in, adding texture and continuing her warm muted color palette throughout the space.

4. Tiny kitchen goes big with style

The Box Hop Tiny Kitchen

You might never guess it from this photo, but this gorg kitchen is part of a shipping container cabin in beautiful Hocking Hills, OH. But designer + Airbnb owner Emily Britt didn't let a small footprint limit her vision for this space. And the result is nothing short of a jaw dropping kitchen where we are proud to be featured.

 3. Laundry for Days

Sgardernstyle

Shavonda Gardner's (sgardnerstyle) signature style is as unique as it is cool. Balancing truly distinctive ideas with an easy to enjoy vibe is a difficult task to pull off, but it's something she does over and over. This boho purple wallpaper paired with our vintage persian rug could make anyone want to stay in here and do laundry for days!

 2. Sweetest Dreams

Patti Wagner Nursery

Shop Vintage Rugs Yes, our rugs can be the perfect addition to a baby nursery, too! We were so thrilled when Patti Wagner (patticakewagner) decided to use one of our vintage persian rugs in her son Jack's nursery! We are huge fans of Patti, designer and renovator, and her effortless vintage/modern style.
